Eileen Roth started Art Source over thirty years ago as one of the first companies in Cleveland to identify the need for a service to help corporations acquire artwork. The first client was TRW. From there the business was built by referrals.
We help our clients think through what art can do for them and develop a strategy and guidelines to achieve their specific objectives. We have worked with some of the finest corporations, healthcare facilities, architects and designers. We enjoy their challenge, and they respect our ideas.
Art Source's strengths have been built up consciously. Over the years, our objective has been increasingly focused on art as a tool for stimulating creativity and educating or creating an image in the community through outreach. Our services have grown to include curatorial work, exhibition planning and management. Some of our programs include; children's art at Hillcrest Hospital, bi-annual international employee art contests for Parker Hannifin and permanent gallery of student artwork from Midpark and Berea High Schools at Southwest General Health Center. We pay attention to every detail and the disciplines of good project management.
The nature of the business is art consultancy; we are not obligated to nor do we represent a specific roster of artists. Not being a vendor enables us to have the most objective vision for our clients projects.
Eileen Roth has volunteered on many arts related boards including Spaces and the Cleveland School of the Arts by serving on the Development Committee and as co-chair of benefits. She has worked with them to bring a level of professionalism to how the artwork is presented in the community. Eileen also serves on the Advisory Board of the Morgan Art of Paper Conservatory and Educational Foundation, and the Cleveland Institute of Art.
